Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment kicks off a great series (and a long one, too!) with a huge bang. Maximum Ride is an avian/human blend, like her flock. Then, when Angel is kidnapped, the flock goes on a rescue mission- well, sort of.

The flock visits locations such as New York and Death Valley, giving you a bird's-eye view. They steal a car and cash, (the car was an extended rental and the cash was from a jerk, though) and find Angel. During their raid-gone-wrong, they find info about the Institute- what is it? The flock goes to New York to find out- and breaks into the Institute, finding it's another lab. They let everything out of their cages, and grab as much information as they can, then runs. [Ending censored]

I recommend this book to anyone who likes sci-fi, realistic fiction, fantasy etc, etc. 5/5. GET A COPY NOW!!! I COMMAND YOU!!!
