Cracker! by Cynthia Kadohata

rating 5/5 (amazing)

This amazing book is about a Germen Shepard dog named Cracker. She is trained for the Vietnam war to sniff out dangerous enemies and their traps.

I liked how it shows people that if you work together, even the hardest people (or animals) can be the worlds best friends. The only thing that I absolutely despised with the book was a guy named Rick said damn a lot. (I hate that word). This book is unique because Cracker and Rick have a friendship that will last forever. What stands out in this book is when you are reading about people dying, it doesn't bother you because you get into the book and something inside of you knows that Cracker is somewhere saving lives. In the book Rick says a quote that always makes me smile like he was my own brother, "I'm going to whip the world." I have read a ton of other books but my favorite is Cracker.

I would recommend this book to others to read. I would recommend this book to every person I know. This is one of the greatest books in the whole entire universe.

Darth Vader started out as a young slave boy, Anakin Skywalker, who lived with his mother and worked for a trash picker. He later became a jedi who became, well, you know.

This book rocked due to the fact that it had plenty of edge-of-your-seat action. The best part is when Darth Vader ends up saving Luke from Emperor Palpitine. The book had lots of cool, well described (but not inappropriate) action scenes. It also had a few scenes you never saw in the movie. Mr.Windham really outdid himself by showing the villain's point of view. It was a lot different to The Glove of Darth Vader and Star Wars Journals: A Battle for Justice.

I recommend this book to Star Wars fans, although several people die and some deaths are worded, er, a little too graphic. However, the book's moral teaches that as long as you're alive, it is never too late to change your life around.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K.Rowling

This book is the last book in the Harry Potter series. Harry must destroy the Horaxes (objects that contain the Dark Lord's soul) and vanquish Voldermort!

This series is unlike anything I've ever read before. The Deathly Hallows is by far my favorite! J.K. Rowling is a very clever author and hides many coincidences in her books. For example, Draco Malfoy's first name means dragon, an accurate description of his character. To discover all of the connections visit the Harry Potter fan website.

I would recommend this book and series to everyone, even if they don't like fantasy. There's something for everyone in Harry Potter!!!!!!!!
