The book was about a girl and a dog who met each other. Then she took the dog home.
I liked the part when Opal met Winn Dixie in the store. I didn't like the part when the dog ran away. I liked the part when Opal met lots of new people with the help of the dog. I liked the part when Opal had a party and invited her friends. I liked the part when the girl's dad let her keep the dog. I really liked this book.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes dogs.
