It's so sad but then a really great book these 2 little boys live on a farm with there mom and dad and there dad goes away for a job (think). Then the youngest boy finds a dog and wants to keep him.
I loved everything about the book I didn't dislike anything it was amazing and i think this book is not like any other books I have read but it's very unique.
I would recommend this book who ever likes dogs and who ever likes dogs.
