In this creative work of historical fiction, adventure, and mystery, Cathrine (Cat) Royal gets caught on a ship with her friends and becomes disguised as a boy to save herself form chaos back at Dury Lane, accusing her of hurting someone in a tangle at the harbor. She then, sick of being bossed around on the ship, devises a clever plan to escape, and does successfully, and then is stuck in a Native American tribe and can't figure out how to get home or who got her into this mess in the first place...

This book is the 4th in the series of Cat royal books, all of which are amazing and must reads. I love this book it is amazingly unique, like nothing I have ever read before. I loved every moment of reading it. It is unlike many historical fiction books in the fact that it is not quiet and all about how they had to spend many hours sewing or working and being "proper" ladies and gentlemen. This book is extremely unique; a magnet that draws in those that must read these books and go on all of Cat's crazy adventures with her. I read the first book, Diamond of Dury Lane when i was about 8 years old and was immediately drawn into them. I have now read 4 of the books and I really hope that there is another one. They keep you going, I got so hooked on 1 of them that I read it all the way through in just one day! and they aren't the everyday "happily ever after" stories. These books leave you longing for the next one!

I think that anyone who loves adventure, suspense, and loves a terrific story that will keep them longing for more should certainly read this book and all of the other books in the series. This book is just a wonderful mix of that classic time period mixed with a female heroine that is unique with her spunky and different definition of girl. A mix of creativity, adventure, mystery, historical fiction, and excitement, this book, and all of the other Cat Royals, are number one must reads on my list, and hopefully on yours as well!
