This book is about a parallel universe during world war I. The difference is that it is now Darwinist's vs Clankers. (Fabricated beasts vs Steam engine Contraptions)
the book had an interesting plot, and it kept my eyes glued to the pages. as i read i was certain i knew what would happen next. Yet somehow, the book often took a less predictable, more mysterious path. It is different from most books i have ever read, but still managed to keep me reading, until the end.
I would strongly recommend this book to others. it is a great book that starts the beginning of a great series.
