When Darkside takes control of earth, the retired superheros reunite. When Wonder Woman spreads a deadly disease, the green lanterns in a panel universe, and most part of the "anti-life" or missing, who will save earth?
The book I read was gory, but not a lot. the ending was really confusing and took a while to figure out. The pictures were really good, although the book skipped quickly to one story to another. The plot was fast paced and a bunch of action. In other words, it rocked.
The book is good for 8 graders. Lots of beloved heroes (batman, Martian manhunter, black canary,etc..) die. There are lots of swear words, too.
